Sharing is Caring [01 Oct 2006|03:28pm]

Well.. since no one uses this group for anything else.. may as well use it to promote the scene...

The October Edition of Ookie Spookie is now up..

Featuring: lotsa new eye candy, lots of new ear candy, reviews, polls, and coming soon.. an interview with a surprise band :)..

You can check out Ookie Spookie.. or

you could check out Vampire Freaks instead... or spend more time on myspace...

But I heard if you spend to much time on Myspace and Vampire Freaks.. you turn into one of these...

However.. spending time on Ookie Spookie only results in turning into one of these..

Anywho.. if you click on any of the pics you'll find yourself there..

Soo like go.. vote.. listen to music.. look at eye candy.. read stuff..

Curiosity [22 Jul 2006|07:51pm]

Now I know a lot of girls find the Dope Stars hot... not sure why.. latent lesbianism perhaps...

But can anyone honestly admit they like this band based purely on their musical talent?

I heard their cover of LAM's Kiss a few months ago and it was just beyond bad. So I played a few other tracks and things just didn't approve. They remind me of the hair metal band, Kix but mixed with elements of Zeromancer and Orgy. I guess one could say that's fresh but to me it sounds like something that may have been better in the 80's but now just seems over done and a bit too flashy.

There.. haha someone asked for a more lam themed post and well.. uh.. I mentioned a cover of a lam song.. that counts, right?

A question [22 Jul 2006|02:43pm]

Wow.. this place is dead... how goth..

So like.. who else thinks this guy...

Is the epitome of dumb ass metal...

....and here I thought I couldn't dream up any more.... [21 May 2006|12:44pm]

[ mood | tired ]

.... but two utterly irrelevant ones have occurred to me which makes up for not having one yesterday anyway....

Do the members of LAM follow any sports? (My brain is fried enough atm so that it piques my curiousity)

Do members of LAM exhaust themselves in the preparation and production of a concert? (I'm feeling fluffy-headed enough to wonder)

Do London After Midnight Get the bra-throwing phenomenon when in concert that I've heard occur at other bands concerts?

Eeep! Forgot. Was in rush to get to work *looks surreptitiously around as he types ;)*

How many countries have London after Midnight toured in Concert?
Let me break you

OK so I'm a little disappointed by that last response but not truly surprised :).

What is the likelihood that London After Midnight will actually provide us, the World, with another album?.

Fire! Fear! Awake! .... [16 May 2006|07:05am]

[ mood | blank ]

....probably doesn't work in a LJ-community LOL.

Now what is the likelihood that the Australian Goth Community will ever raise enough interest to attract LAM down here for a concert?

The last time the subject was raised I said I'd fly to wherever it was to see them play ....

(This is harder than I thought it would be, I've forgotten all the questions I thought of yesterday, I should have written them down :) )

Cardboard Rabbit is right :).... [15 May 2006|07:21am]

[ mood | cheerful ]

....So in order to keep some activity going in the community I too have a question.

Does anyone know why someone produced industrial versions of my favourite LAM songs?

Actually this is a question that pops up in my head every time they play the industrial songs at my local club. It irritates me. So I don't mind if I get a serious answer but I'd prefer to get an outrageous answer! This should be a true community bound by a common thing, our enjoyment of the music by LAM!

Hello to everyone! XD

My name's Cynestaire, fourteen years old with varying mentality age and probably one of the precious few (or even the only one) who has heard of LAM down this lonely part of SE Asia. I've been a fan for quite sometime now and stumbled upon this community out of luck and boredom *points to the search bar with a big funny kiddie grin*

Just dropping by to say hi. ^^

My name's Alina, I've been a fan of lam for a while now.
I was wondering if anyone has the lyrics to October? Or what they think the lyrics are? I absolutely love that song.
Thanks <3

Stunning live LAM video featured on the Zillo Festival 2004 DVD [08 Feb 2005|03:03pm]

London After Midnight appear on the Zillo Festival 2004 DVD with a stunning live performance of the song Shatter (All My Dead Friends). It is a full length performance in superb quality that was recorded this past summer at the Zillo Festival. The DVD also includes great live performances from acts such as The Crüxshadows, Blutengel, Suicide Commando, to name a few. The DVD is PAL / Region Free format so that means it can be viewable on a multi-region DVD player of course but it can, well it should, be also viewable in any DVD player as well. I have a standard DVD player, a cheap one too, and it plays the DVD with no problem. If anything you can just pop in the DVD into a DVD-ROM drive then sit back and enjoy.

The DVD is part of the 12/04-01/05 Zillo Magazine issue (which also comes with a CD). For those of you who might be unaware, Zillo is a German language magazine. Nonetheless it is a great magazine if you can read it or not, at least I think so. To order this issue just head on over to Dark Music Domain. The item is listed as: Zillo Magazine – with CD and Zillo Festival 2004 DVD. Quantities are limited so I suggest ordering it before disappointment.
